Have you ever wanted to skate with the Rat City Rollergirls? Every summer, Rat City provides the opportunity with our annual Makin’ Bacon Derby Camp! We provide a multiple-week adult camp, with sessions on both weeknights and weekends, as we build up newer skaters with a progressive selection of drills and activities, all with plenty of coaching to give you opportunities to push your skating and derby skills. The camp ends with a camp-wide bout scrimmage, with the opportunity for friends and family to watch!
We guarantee you will get a great workout, learn plenty of new skills, and possibly make some great new friends in the process!

Please note:
- Boot Camp schedule and content will be subject to minor changes.
- Enrollment is limited.
- This camp is for women 18 or older who have primary health insurance and their own skating gear.
When: June 2013
What do you need? Full derby gear! Quad skates (indoor and outdoor wheels), helmet, mouth guard, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads.
Who? Female skaters 18+
Where? Rat City’s private training facility in Ballard (address to be sent upon final payment of camp)
Why? Thinking about derby but not sure how to get started? Or are you ready to tryout and want to train with the best? Rat City wants to teach you how to skate!

Cost: $200 for the full 4 weeks, $125 for the last 2 weeks. (Cost includes free entrance to Fit Skate sessions during the camp time period)
The Schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays during the month of June, from the 1st up through the 23rd.
Saturday sessions are from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, and Sunday sessions are 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
