Rat City Rollergirls bouts are an action-packed mix of sport and spectacle featuring some of the best roller derby skaters in the country as well as some of the area’s most exciting entertainment acts.
Tickets are now on sale for all of Rat City’s 2013 KeyArena bouts!
The Rat City Rollergirls are back at KeyArena for the 2013 season starting on January 19th! This season will feature five home team bouts at KeyArena (plus one bonus bout at Southgate Roller Rink), with a special twist this year, as Rat City welcomes a selection of visiting teams for the first four home team bouts! Each bout will start off with a home team vs. home team bout to get things going, and will then be followed up by a home team vs. visiting team battle! You’ll get the chance to see teams from the Terminal City Rollergirls of Vancouver, B.C., the Port Scandalous Roller Derby of Port Angeles, and the Slaughter County Roller Vixens of Kitsap County. May will then bring about the home team championships, as we see which Rat City team gets to hoist the trophy this year!
The action doesn’t stop in May, as Rat City then will offer up three more bouts, all featuring Rat City’s All-Stars! You’ll be able to see Rat City take on some of the best teams from across the nation – and outside of it – as we host teams from Baltimore, Sacramento, Montréal, London, and the 2012 WFTDA Champions, the Gotham Girls of New York City! This is sure to be some of the most intense roller derby action ever seen at KeyArena, and you won’t want to miss any of it!
