Back by popular demand, the Rat City Rollergirls presents the Well Balanced Skater. This six-part class will help you better your understand your anatomy and mechanics, teach you corrective exercises, and prevent overuse syndromes that commonly occur with skating. The core, hip/pelvis, knee, foot, shoulder, nutrition, and balance/cross training concepts will all be addressed to make you a more balanced, pain-free athlete.
All sessions will be instructed by Rat City Rollergirl’s own Alex DeLarge (aka Jill McVey, DPT, ATC). Alex brings years of clinical knowledge and experience as a physical therapist to these sessions. As a skater she understands the injuries commonly associated with the competitive skater. If you find injuries keep you on the sideline or want to learn skills to keep yourself injury-free, you cannot afford to miss this!
