Favorite Position: When I played, my favorite position was B-1. My favorite way to play was to team up with the pivot to create a wall in the front of the pack. I also loved being a very offensive blocker and giving my jammer lots of help! Now my favorite position is in the hot tub.
Likes: Dinner parties, working on my businesses, cooking (I can cook Sara Problem under the table any day), reading, gardening, hanging with friends, volunteering at my sons’ schools.
Drinking cheap beer, wrestling friends, playing poker, creating nice holes for a jammer, and shooting off at the mouth.
Dislikes: LAZINESS and PETTINESS.
Oh, and olives, salmon, slow drivers, rude children, and jammers who take the outside (yeah, I’m talkin’ to you, Meg MyDay!).
Injuries: I severely sprained my ankle two months into my career. Biggest bummer: I still can’t wear high heels for very long!
I also tore some muscles in my shoulders when we used to practice on the slick gym floor at the Armory at South Lake Union. Biggest bummer: My arm wrestling skills took a massive dive after these injuries. This particularly sucked because I was second in the league only to Burnett Down– and I hate being second at anything!!
And finally, I tore my miniscus (cartilage in the knee). I was supposed to have surgery, but time has been a better healer than the knife on this one!! Biggest bummer: It bothers me to move it too much laterally, so snow skiing is out… so I took up snow boarding and LOVE it!
Motto: DO IT TODAY!
Favorite Music: Rolling Stones reign supreme.
Favorite Drink: Gimme good wine, strong iced tea, and cold water!
Awards: Most Encouraging Teammate
And I’m pretty sure I have to be the league’s biggest SH!T talker ever.
Bio: Buy me a drink and I’ll tell you my lies.
